The
GED®
measures the outcome of a high school education. The GED®
consist of five tests: Math, Science, Social Studies, Writing,
and Reading. The GED® is available
in English, Spanish, French, large-print, audiocassette, and Braille.
Accommodations can be made available to examinees with disabilities.

Verification
letters are not official documents (does not have a state seal),
they can not be used as a transcript. To request your transcript
(certificate), mail in a GED®
Certificate Request Form.
NEWS:
- The
GED®
Unit will be CLOSED
on Wednesday, Dec. 23 through Friday,
Dec. 25 and on Thursday,
Jan. 1, 2009.

to the GED® Test

forms of the GED® Tests are expected
January 1, 2012.
- The
scores on your current test report cannot
be combined with the 2012 series of the GED®
Tests.
- By
December 31, 2011 you must have passed
the GED® with a total passing
score of 2250 (450 average) with no score
less than 410 on the five individual test,
or your scores will become invalid and you will need to
take the entire 2012 series.
- The
previous change happened in 2002, if you have unfinished
scores from BEFORE 2002, you
MUST retest (only if you did
not finish before the 2002 change).
